Giveaway: Black Sheep Cafe $50 Giftcard (Closed)

Today, I'd like to remind you about Black Sheep Cafe.

Guess what? They just started serving brunch on Saturdays.
We're breakfast people around these parts, 
so I was pretty excited when they announced their new brunch menu. 
After hearing about this, we quickly set up a babysitter and hurried on over.

We discovered something on this day--Cactus Pear Lemonade.
Beautiful color. Very refreshing. A light & pleasant sweetness.
I dare say perfect.

Biscuits and Gravy was of course delicious and filling.


Yet another new discovery--traditional Bleu Corn Mush made with cedar ash.
I hope no one saw me scarf that down.....

And also--one of my favorite dishes--Huevos Rancheros. 
This one has taken a top spot in my book of Huevos Rancheros meals.
And their rice and pinto beans are pretty incredible.

Black Sheep Cafe is quickly earning it's place as my favorite restaurant.

There's really nothing more I can say about this place. 
You must, MUST, go try it for yourselves.

SLAB Pizza in Provo, Utah

Favorite:

There are people in this world who argue about different kinds of pizza.
Thin crust? Deep dish? Fancy? Greasy? No sauce? Red sauce? Chicago? New York? Neapolitan? 
People! There is enough room in this world for all kinds of different pizza!



All pizzas size 20": $16-24  :::  Slab (1/4): $4-6


Caramelized Onion: olive oil, caramelized onion, goat cheese, thyme


Breakfast: red sauce, bacon, sausage, potatoes, NM green chile, roasted red peppers, egg


The Meikel: peanut sauce, pineapple, red pepper, scallion, cilantro


Rosemary Potato + Bacon: potatoes, bacon, rosemary dust, feta cheese, olive oil base


Red Curry Pulled Pork: w/ asian slaw


I absolutely loved the chewy and slightly crispy crust.
A great pizza spot with something for everybody.
