Old Towne Grill in Provo, Utah

Update: Temporarily closed until they reopen at a new location in 2014.

Like:

This location used to be Center Street Bistro--of which we didn't like.
It's changed hands, names, and pretty much everything else.
I'm so glad!
When my mother and I ate here a couple of weeks ago, we didn't know it had opened only three days previous. How precious! And we enjoyed everything!

The beautiful, chilled, avocado soup was creamy, cool, and refreshing.

Appetizers. Soups. Salads. Burgers. Sandwiches. Entre├ęs. Desserts.
Sounds like a good sit-down to me.

The Grilled Kale Salad ($8) could have used more kale or they could have changed the name to a spinach salad; either way, it was really good.

Flash Fried Artichokes w/ Lemon Garlic Aioli $7
Of course these were good, look at em'.

Center Street Tacos w/ Slow Cooked Beef & Cilantro Chili Lime Sauce $7
The beef was seasoned very well. I placed the little slaw on each one and devoured them.

I love all the old, mismatched plates.

Grilled Portobello $7
The ciabatta roll on this sandwich was INCREDIBLE; soft & not too chewy.

Apple Berry Crisp $6.50

New York Style Cheesecake $6

This place is brand new and came across a little timid,
but all the food was great & beautifully presented!
Give a local place some time to work out some kinks.
I think Old Towne Grill will fit right in.

  4. The food was great. Loved the "upcycled" dishes, as well. Nice touch.
